Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is looking for a Project Manager for their St. Louis, MO, CDMO (Contract Development Manufacturing Organization) site. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and with quality. This will involve coordinating resources, managing team dynamics, and overseeing project activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex projects (i.e. expansions, new products, operational excellence) with a strong sense of ownership and desire to deliver results within a cross-functional, fast-paced project environment
  • Monitor and control projects/programs to deliver desired scope on time, on budget, and in a quality way
  • Present and facilitate productive meetings large and small with a clear understanding of the audience's needs and necessary outcomes
  • Leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Identify and resolve critical issues and risks collaborating with key stakeholders to problem solve and make decisions while considering organizational impact
  • Communicate regularly and proactively with internal and external stakeholders as part of progress updates
  • Motivate, inspire, and promote a shared vision of success
  • Create and maintain project artifacts which includes Project Charter, Resource Matrix, Decisions, Tasks, Schedule, Budget, Dashboards, Change Control, Risks, Scorecards, and operational hand-off/process related documentation
  • Understand how tactical plans lead to successful project outcomes that impact our customers and our strategic business goals
  • Mentor and coach project management personnel within own group and greater organization
  • Capture lessons learned with each new project in the spirit of continuous improvement


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with 5+ years of Project Management experience

-OR-
  • High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of Project Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering field
  • PMP Certification
  • Smartsheet Experience
  • Experience in the GMP/Biotech/Pharma/Regulated Industry
  • Experience in detailed review work and following procedures
  • Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards
  • Independent, self-starter with proven results in biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good evaluation and analytic skills for problem identification and communication to others
  • Knowledge and experience in various computer skills, including Windows, Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook, as well as familiarity working in a windows-based environment
