Job Summary
The Implant Contract Director is responsible for overseeing contracts related to implantable medical devices within a healthcare organization. Coordinates with suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing cost-effectiveness.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Work Experience:
Five years of management experience required.
Prior experience in contract management, procurement, or supply chain management required; preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
License/Registration/Certification:
None
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, supply chain management, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Skills:
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to medical devices, including FDA regulations and healthcare compliance. Analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software/tools.
