This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of all HR transactions within our Workday system. Reporting to the HR Operations Lead, the HR Analyst will be the primary point of contact for all Workday-related activities and will collaborate closely with the Workday IT team to maintain system integrity and optimize performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR processes and a proven track record of hands-on experience within the Workday platform.

Position Summary
Guggenheim Securities is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient HR Analyst to join our dynamic HR Operations team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of all HR transactions within our Workday system. Reporting to the HR Operations Lead, the HR Analyst will be the primary point of contact for all Workday-related activities and will collaborate closely with the Workday IT team to maintain system integrity and optimize performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR processes and a proven track record of hands-on experience within the Workday platform.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for processing all HR transactions within the Workday system, including but not limited to hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, benefits open enrollment, leaves of absence and organizational changes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data within Workday by adhering to established data entry standards and conducting regular audits.
- Generate, update, and analyze HR reports within Workday to provide valuable insights to the HR team and business stakeholders.
- Develop, test, and load Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) files for mass data updates and uploads.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Workday business processes, identifying and resolving errors in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with the Workday IT team to report system issues, request enhancements, and participate in system testing and upgrades.
- Serve as a key resource for HR team members and employees on Workday-related inquiries and provide guidance on system functionality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday functionality and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Workday process documentation and training materials.
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to Workday optimization and enhancements.
- Assist the HR Operations Lead with other tasks and projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Workday modules (e.g., Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Payroll).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Proven ability to accurately and efficiently process a wide range of HR transactions in Workday (Hires, Terminations, Transfers, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in creating, running, and modifying Workday reports.
- Experience in creating and loading Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) files for data management.
- Strong understanding of Workday business process configuration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with HR colleagues, employees, and the Workday IT team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct, hands-on experience working within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Work Location
- Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.
Salary
- Annual base salary between $125,000 and $140,000.
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
