At Ford, the Subscription Services Technical Program Manager will work on and drive delivery of complex, global applications with other engineers and experts in cloud technologies. You will leverage your expertise in subscription services technology to deliver high quality, scalable software solutions across backend and frontend cloud-based applications. You will also collaborate with stakeholders in engineering, product, design and enterprise architecture, and provide the technical point-of-view on the proposed business requirements as we build new solutions into the existing product portfolios.

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Lead definition, planning, execution and operationalization of complex technical initiatives in software space aimed at achieving strategic business goals associated with subscription services
- Leverage subscription technical expertise to design program strategies, robust technical architecture, functional and technical requirements
- Deliver comprehensive functional specifications aligned with project goals
- Ensure project and program objectives, deliverables and outcomes are achieved within the agreed scope, timeline, budget and allocated resources
- Demonstrate influential leadership by considering diverse perspectives, making decisive progress, and motivating the team to achieve project objectives
- Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of the strategic projects/programs
- Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and leverage DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) metrics to enhance product reliability, performance, and deployment efficiency.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field OR a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of hands-on software delivery experience preferably in subscription services or cloud-based system development
- Experience applying emerging best practices and agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban) to enable significant improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated a sense of ownership for critical systems, acting as a steward for both our customers and internal customers

- Experience in managing cross-functional technical design and delivery dependencies across complex systems
- Knowledge and experience in implementing SRE practices and utilizing DORA metrics.
- A track record of driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced environment.
