Bachelor s degree. Five years of administrative experience in an airport facility, transportation, or governmental operations, including supervisory experience, is required. Additional administrative experience in an airport facility, transportation, or governmental operations, including supervisory experience, may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. Customer service experience in managing a public at large organization is highly desirable. Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and such other procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
