What you will do:
As the Director, Global Portfolio Strategy at Hologic, you will spearhead a transformative, enterprise-wide capability that redefines how Hologic prioritizes and funds our most impactful strategic initiatives to fuel our ambitious growth objectives. Serving as the critical link between strategic planning and operational execution, you will collaborate and partner with global leaders across Hologic's three business units (Diagnostics, Breast Health, and GYN Surgery) to architect and develop the enterprise-wide practices and tools which identify, prioritize, and fund strategic initiatives that shape Hologic's future.
This high-visibility role on the Corporate Strategy team demands a unique blend of strategic vision, analytical depth, and hands-on executional excellence. You will not only define and champion the practice of global portfolio strategy but also provide strategic oversight of the enabling technology platform, Hologic's Global Portfolio Investment System, ensuring it serves as the definitive source for tracking investment performance and informing critical decisions. The annualized base salary range for this role is $145,300 to $258,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead the continuous development and enhancement of Hologic's enterprise-wide Global Portfolio Strategy practice, in close collaboration with senior leaders across Diagnostics, Breast Health, and GYN Surgery. Codify this practice into a global playbook, establishing clear frameworks, cadence, and criteria for prioritizing and funding high-impact initiatives aligned with Hologic's strategic goals.
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Global Portfolio Investment System, guiding its roadmap, adoption, and enterprise integration to ensure it effectively supports portfolio decision-making and the global portfolio strategy practice.
- Design, implement, and monitor key strategic performance indicators (KPIs) to rigorously track internal investment performance. Leveraging these KPIs and diving deep into system data, actively uncover insights that inform portfolio evaluation, identify emerging trends, facilitate data-driven decisions, and articulate the impact on Hologic's enterprise-wide strategy.
- Champion the adoption of the global portfolio strategy practice and investment system across the enterprise through targeted change management initiatives (awareness, training, continuous improvement), ensuring smooth, sustainable integration across the enterprise.
- Deliver compelling, executive-level presentations that translate complex analyses into clear strategic narratives.
- Navigate a dynamic, matrixed environment with a hands-on approach, balancing visionary strategy with operational execution to drive meaningful change.
Knowledge:
- Deep knowledge of financial modeling, scenario planning, business intelligence platforms, data analysis methodologies, and strategic decision-making frameworks.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes within the medical devices, diagnostics, or broader healthcare sectors.
- Proficiency in change management principles with a proven track record of applying structured methodologies to drive transformational initiatives in complex, global organizations.

- Analytical Excellence: Exceptional ability to structure complex business challenges, synthesize large datasets, and perform advanced financial modeling (including expert-level Excel proficiency) to generate actionable insights.

Education:
- Required BA/BS degree, 12+ years of experience in the field. Preferred Master's Degree, 10+years, PhD 8+ years.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10+ years of progressive experience in product/portfolio management, corporate strategy, or management consulting, with a preference for experience in the medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare industries.
- Prior experience at a top-tier management consulting firm is highly desirable.
