Purpose of Job
Lead and perform Generalist audits and other audit requirements, duties, and services.
Key Accountabilities
- Act in the role of a subject matter expert for audits managed and executed
- Manage the execution of audits to be within budgeted planned hours
- Manage the allocation of audit resources on assigned audit tasks
- Ensure timely reporting of assigned audit tasks and follow established reporting protocols
- Monitor the quality of audits managed and executed to ensure that they are aligned with the Sasol Assurance Services Operating Manual (SASOM)
- Manage delivery to ensure requirements of the Sasol Limited Audit Committee in terms of our performance measures are met
- Manage own and team effectiveness
- Conduct ad-hoc requests as and when required, communicating and assessing the relevance of requests from business management to line manager
- Communicate and behave professionally to enable and ensure high levels of credibility, trust, and respect
Formal Education
University Bachelors Degree
Working Experience
- 10+ relevant years in Auditing experience
- 3+ relevant years supervisory experience
Required Personal and Professional Skills
- Internal auditing (planning, execution, reporting and review)
- Internal controls analysis
- Strong writing skills
- Strong communication skills (listening and speaking)
- Strong and positive people leadership
- Strong interpersonal and personal management skills
- Effective managerial skills
- Data analytics
