Position Summary:
As the Energy Engineering Manager at Redaptive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our energy efficiency technology solutions by leading the other HVAC and complex mechanical engineers both in the US and India, managing design engineering partners and preconstruction partners to ensure on-time delivery of proposals.
Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control of third-party partner project development deliverables and inputs, while also actively participating in fieldwork for critical pilots, innovation, and research and development to maintain subject matter expertise (SME).

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage Design Engineering and Preconstruction Partners: Collaborate with design engineering and preconstruction partners to define project scope, objectives, pricing, and timelines for Redaptive's energy efficiency projects. Oversee their work progress, providing guidance and support to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with quality standards.
- Quality Control of Third-Party Partner Deliverables: Conduct rigorous quality checks of project development deliverables provided by third-party partners. Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Redaptive's established standards.
- Value Engineering of Proposals: Collaborate with the project development team to apply value engineering principles, optimizing project costs while maintaining high-quality proposal standards.
- In-House Energy Engineering SME: Act as a subject matter expert for Energy Engineering within the team, providing technical expertise and insights on energy efficiency technology solutions.
- Design and Implement Standards: Create best practices and guidelines for project development across Redaptive's energy efficiency technology solutions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and ensure excellence in project execution.
- Field Work and SME Maintenance: Engage in fieldwork for critical pilots, innovation initiatives, and research and development activities related to energy efficiency projects. Continuously expand and update subject matter expertise to remain at the forefront of advancements in the energy efficiency industry.

Required Abilities and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of savings calculations for mechanical systems, including central plant, HVAC, compressors, and industrial process equipment.
- Experience with Measurement and Verification (M&V) protocols.
- Familiarity with requests for proposals (RFPs) and scope of work refinement.
- Previous experience with energy auditing. Knowledge of ASHRAE design and audit standards.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage internal team members and external partners.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and drive output from multiple team members
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality assurance.
- Articulate communicator and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resourceful and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites and participate in fieldwork as required.
Education and Experience:
- 10+ years experience and Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Required
- 6-7+ years of proven experience in project management or quality assurance, preferably in the energy efficiency, technology, or construction industry. Required
- Construction management experience is preferred.
- Procurement experience is preferred.
- PE and CEM is preferred.
