Establishes clear and achievable objectives and planning, directs people to reach objectives while balancing competing demands for quality, scope, time, and cost. Utilizes project management skills and methodologies to manage assigned projects.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $94,066 -$141,000. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance). The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee Corporate Development projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet all requirements in terms of scope, time, budget, and quality
- Lead cross-functional teams to collaborate effectively and achieve seamless execution. Gathers required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to define workstreams, detailed project plans and deliverables.
- Works with key stakeholders and internal business partners to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Identifies project partners and manages communication.
- Identifies resources needed, negotiates with leaders on resources to ensure project plans are completed within defined timeframes, meeting objectives and goals. Directs resources on assigned projects and ensures clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Develops and implements communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks, and timely delivery of results. Translates project goals/objectives into a defined future state and project success measures that can be understood by project partners, project team, and others.
- Ensures business needs and objectives are effectively captured in functional and non-functional business requirements for a system and/or process workflow.
- Oversees business requirements to meet expected business solutions and trace delivery of requirements through testing and final implementation.
- Manages project quality through activities such as conducting appropriate reviews, obtaining approvals, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Articulates project management best practices with peer group and others as applicable.
- Prioritizes tasks to meet deliverable and commitments on time.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of enterprise-level project management experience, preferably to include Corporate Development, New Market Entry, and/or M&A experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study, or equivalent work experience
- Preferred: Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), or advanced Project Management training/education equivalent
- Preferred: New Market Entry and/or M&A project management experience in healthcare-related industry
- Preferred: PM experience within healthcare-related industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex strategic investments and transactions
- Capability to manage projects involving various workstreams and individuals at different levels of seniority
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and apply it effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Collaboration with leadership and teams to design, develop, and implement focused strategies
