Summary:

FourGen Holdings is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Technology to lead and elevate our technology infrastructure (data and voice) across our holding company and its three operating entities. This leadership role will focus on developing, planning, implementing, and executing an enterprise-wide IT strategy aligned with the evolving business goals of each company. The Director of Technology will oversee a small team and ensure that IT systems and services support business operations effectively, securely, and efficiently.

This role is strategic in nature, requiring vision, leadership, and collaboration, while also retaining a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach. The Director of Technology will report directly to the President of the holding company and work closely with the presidents of each operating entity.

What you'll do:
  • Strategic IT Planning:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive IT roadmap that aligns with the short- and long-term goals of FourGen Holdings and its subsidiaries.
  • Technology Assessment & Improvement:
    Evaluate current technology platforms and future needs across all entities; identify and implement improvements that drive operational efficiency and business value.
  • System & Infrastructure Oversight:
    Ensure all IT systems (networks, servers, applications, and mobile infrastructure) are robust, scalable, and secure to meet business requirements and ensure high availability and uptime.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    Lead, mentor, and manage a small IT team; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management & Execution:
    Oversee planning and execution of IT projects across companies, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure expansions.
  • IT Governance & Compliance:
    Ensure alignment with corporate policies, industry standards, and government regulations; optimize costs and maintain IT risk management and security protocols.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    Partner with leadership from each company to understand business needs and ensure IT solutions support operational success.

What you'll need for success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in information systems/technology management with increasing responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in IT strategic planning and execution across multi-entity organizations.
  • Experience in the construction industry or similar field is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and security.
    • Experience implementing and maximizing Business Central (MS Dynamics) and Salesforce strongly desired.
    • Demonstrated success introducing and managing new technologies and standards.
    • Skilled in budgeting, cost management, and resource planning.
    • Experienced in leading high-impact IT projects from concept through completion.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
    • Ability to translate business goals into effective technology strategies and solutions.
    • Working knowledge of government regulations related to IT systems and operations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
