Responsible for the product development of e-drive and drivetrain systems, including the design, modeling, assembling, testing, and applications in e-powertrain systems, as well as the development plans, procedures, and data analysis. Specifically, the job duties include:

Duties and responsibilities

Description of duties:
  • Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with major CAD tools (e.g., Catia, UG) and FEA tools (e.g., Ansys) for mechanical design and analysis.
  • Possess experience and skills in design optimization, as well as NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) simulation, analysis, and testing.
  • Exhibit familiarity with e-powertrain development, including design, analysis, testing, prototyping, and manufacturing technologies; demonstrate knowledge of materials, machining processes, heat treatment, electrical insulation, and assembly.
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, and thermal design, analysis, assembly, and testing activities.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze design-of-experiments for product validation and durability testing.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies of emerging and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts in prototyping, assembly, and testing phases.
  • Maintain expertise in assembly and testing procedures, applying both analytical and hands-on approaches.
  • Leverage experience with 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for component and assembly design.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians.
  • Allocate at least 20% of work time for business travel as required.

Minimum Requirements:
  • M.S. degree with 3+ years or B.S. degree with 5+ years of working experience in relevant industry.
  • Great team worker; excellent problem solving and communication skills.
