RF Engineer

Job Description
Seeking a RF Engineer for an electronics manufacturer in the military and commercial industry.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of RF Microwave Engineering experience in design, development, analysis, and investigations of electronic devices and systems.

What you will do:

Responsible for solving moderately complex engineering problems in one or more phases of development engineering project involving the analysis, research, design, development, fabrication, and testing of devices or systems. Assignments may be varied and somewhat difficult in character and require originality and ingenuity.

• Perform original circuit design and analysis.
• Supply technical assistance and coordination to designers and staff assigned to the project.
• Provide direction to the Engineering Technician and associate Engineers while breadboarding, wiring, debugging, and testing is being performed.
• Design and plans wiring layouts and schematics.
• Plan tests to be conducted and arranges the test setup.
• Check performance of devices during tests and evaluates the results.
• Provide technical assistance in the preparation of spare parts lists, special tools, test equipment, and other engineering data.
• Specify the procurement of specialized components and test equipment.
• Assist in preparation of bids and proposals.
• Use PC-based Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Programs of moderate complexity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required, Master's degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience writing technical specifications and other technical documents is a plus
• Must be familiar with Modeling and Simulating
• Experience in optimizing new conceptual circuits along with evaluating, testing, tuning, and modifying circuits to meet specifications
• Familiar with amplifier design using both packaged components and bare die
