Description:

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion for the midstream oil and gas facilities. This role involves managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure project success. The Engineering Project Manager must coordinate with various teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality results.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and finalize engineering projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resources, timeline, and budget.
  • Coordinate and manage project team members, both internal and external.
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Review and approve project designs and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and handle any project changes or issues that arise.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in oil and gas midstream projects
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in oil and gas midstream projects without an engineering degree
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Familiarity with techniques and tools used in project management
  • Proven experience as a project manager
  • Proficiency in project management software tools

Certifications:
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred

Physical Demands and Hazard for Field Employees:

This position may require occasional travel to remote sites, potential exposure to flammable material, adherence to safety protocols, compliance with operating regulations, and will require rigorous physical demands.
