What We Need

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to partner closely with Product and Engineering to help us consistently improve the Clasp experience for all stakeholders. You should care deeply about user experience and enjoy noticing when something feels off. You'll help us ship confidently by making sure features work as expected, flagging bugs early, and giving feedback from a user's perspective. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to take on more ownership-whether that's digging into code, designing workflows, or managing features end-to-end.

What You'll Do:
    • Test new features before they launch to help us catch bugs and UX gaps early
    • Write detailed test cases that support engineers in improving automation
    • Own and evolve the testing strategy across Clasp's platform
    • Collaborate with Product and Design to ensure the UI matches our design system
    • Help prioritize features and fixes based on what matters most to users
    • Triage, manage, and track bug reports through resolution
    • As you grow: Take on product management or engineering projects that match your interests

What You'll Need:
    • A sharp eye for detail and a low tolerance for broken or confusing experiences
    • Clear written communication-you can describe issues so others can take action
    • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile processes
    • Comfort using tools like Jira, Notion, and Figma
    • Experience working with students or early-career users
    • Curiosity about how software works and a willingness to dig into technical details
    • Ability to navigate web apps and pick up new tools quickly
    • A proactive mindset-you notice things, speak up, and follow through

What We Give in Return:
    • Competitive cash and equity compensation
    • Health benefits (health, dental, & vision)
    • 401k
    • Commuter benefits
    • Flexible PTO policy
    • Opportunities to grow and perform in a fast-paced environment alongside a stellar team
