Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Clinical Services, the Operations Manager manages and supervises all staff in assigned clinic patient care units according to the policies, philosophy and objectives of the Radiation Oncology Department and the hospital to create a system of quality health care and to insure that the operational needs of the department are met in order to provide high quality care for patients. Areas of responsibility include:

- Clinic Services Operations
- System coordination
- Quality improvement

- Radiation Therapist Technical and Clinical Support and Guidance

The Operations Manager maintains a current level of knowledge with management leadership skills and maintains current Radiation Therapist Licensure, as defined by professional organizations and complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor Degree in a related area.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school for therapeutic radiologic technology


Licensure, Certification, Registration:
  • Must be registered by the ARRT and hold a valid Mass. Radiologic technologist license

  • Excellent computer skills required including knowledge and experience with Windows-based programs as well as Microsoft Word, Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and work independently.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret patient data and involve others to achieve appropriate patient outcomes.


Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of Radiation Therapist experience with increasing healthcare management responsibilities
