A Brief Overview
The Securities Operations team plays a critical role in the investment lifecycle. The team is responsible for supporting asset strategies such as fixed income, middle-market bank loans and private equity, equity real estate joint ventures, commercial mortgage loans, and lifetime mortgages. The Executive Director for the private credit team serves as the subject matter expert managing and guiding the team on current and future needs to support the firm's global, muti-asset class portfolio including Portfolio Management, Investment Solutions, Trading, and Accounting. A successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, maintain strong prioritization skills and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation Range:
$123,500.00 - $184,050.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. Responsibilities
- Manage daily processing functions across securities operations such as trade support, trade allocation, wire processing, , daily processing activities such as draws, pay downs and PIK payments.
- Manage complex processes across various private asset classes throughout each asset's lifecycles.
- Streamline existing workflows to improve the flow of the team's overall processes.
- Develop, assist, and lead in implementing new business processes and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Provide accurate cash and position and break resolution to ensure timely cash forecast
- Facilitate remediation and root cause problem solving of reconciliation issues
- Serve as a subject matter expert in managing divisional/cross-divisional complex projects as well as internal and industry related initiatives. Direct staff in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and programs including developing efficient and effective investment operations workflows using technology
- Interact and build external relationships with clients, brokers, counterparties, external manager and custodian banks
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Investment's front, middle, and back office as well as with RGA corporate partners (e.g., IT, Accounting, Structured Finance)
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) plus 10+ years investment securities related work experience
- 5+ years Private Credit Experience
- 5+ Years supervisory/management experience
Preferred:
- MBA or other relevant post graduate degrees or designations
- Reinsurance or insurance industry knowledge
- Experience using the BlackRock Aladdin trade order management system, ,
- Experience using an industry established loan system.
- Knowledge of the Clear Par process
Skills and Abilities

- Advanced knowledge of broad investments business practices, security operation functions, and related data flows
- Understanding of a wide range of asset classes and related processes
- Recognizing patterns and trends in securities operations and identifying opportunities for improving processes and systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize work, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Technology savvy, programming, and process improvement/automation skills
- Advanced investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational ability, being able to multi-task, effectively manage tasks and projects, adapt to new methods, and work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel
- Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/ accepted solutions.
- Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management
