Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and business development initiatives for Tecomet's contract manufacturing capabilities. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and fostering long-term relationships with key customers in the medical device and aerospace markets. Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract manufacturing sales, deep industry connections, and a proven track record of securing high-value contracts.
Principle Responsibilities
- Develops and executes strategic plans, value propositions, as well as tactical plans to maximize revenue growth and profit contribution across the Account.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, OEM engagements, and long-term contracts
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development team, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the medical device, and aerospace industries.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with company capabilities and market demand.
- Acts as "single point of contact" for all customer activities across global Tecomet and customer sites.
- Coordinates and engages the company's combined resources (including BDM's, Customer Service, Operations, Quality, Product and Program Management) to assure a unified approach to solving the customer's needs and meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure agreements align with company objectives and profitability targets. Gathers market and target pricing information to guide Tecomet quoting process, and works with Product Management to develop winning proposals while meeting Tecomet pricing guidelines and policies.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and networking.
- Drive a culture of customer-centric selling, ensuring clients receive high-quality solutions tailored to their needs.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to the EVP of Sales and executive leadership team.
- Meets specific targets for sales, gross margin, opportunity pipeline expansion, and strategic objectives for assigned accounts
Qualification Requirements
Credentials/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Minimum 7 years sales leadership experience in consultative role selling technical products and solutions in a B2B environment.
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and negotiating contracts.
- Experience obtaining and preserving market share in a highly regulated industry.
Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop a sales team.
- Deep understanding of regulatory and quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA, GMP) affecting medical device manufacturing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively as member of a high performing professional team, including remote collaboration.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas and grow territory.
- Demonstrate the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and carry-on effective business conversations/relationships with business owners, senior leaders, and key decision makers.
- Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that result in effective presentations of all of Tecomet's global capabilities.
- Proficient with CRM tools (such as sfdc or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
