BMO Bank N.A. seeks Manager III-PM Information Security Operations in Chicago, IL to monitor, restore service, change, support and handle day-to-day activities required to run the mission critical Information security systems. Provide responsive customer service in support of cyber security.

  • Provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Develop and document procedures and processes, conforming to industry best practices and bank security regulations, policies and standards.
  • Lead the preparation of end user reference materials.
  • Gather and document requirements for use in various audits, reports, and projects.
  • Act in a larger project planning capacity, audit the quality of reports submitted by analysts and provide related coaching and support.
  • Perform governance and oversight in support of the team, by producing and reviewing reports to ensure completeness and compliance to applicable standards.
  • Monitor and maintain security tools and applications.
  • Create activity reports for security tools and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives and support operational activities for information security.
  • Action service requests, transactions, and queries within relevant service level agreements. Coordinate and facilitate incident management activities.
  • Recommend approaches or changes to streamline and integrate security processes and systems in the organization, while considering information security methodology to improve overall efficiency.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as Systems Analyst or related occupation planning and implementing operational programs to run mission critical information security systems, including design, development, testing and production operations to support complex business systems, applications, technical specifications and procedures.


Specific skills/other requirements:
  • Developing information security processes in identity and access management, privileged access management, IGA, SSO, MFA, CIEM, Splunk, databases, security operations, security architecture, and policy/governance;
  • Managing and supporting access management solutions;
  • Utilizing IAM principles and best practices to provide governance and oversight function to ensure enterprise solutions adhere to IAM standards;
  • Utilizing Sailpoint, CyberArk, federation and SSO technologies, such as SiteMinder, SAML, OpenID, OAuth, and MFA tools, to design and implement IAM controls for access review, authentication, authorization, privileged access, and provisioning;
  • Operating user lifecycle workflows, application integrations/onboarding, user access, and roles review and governance;
  • Developing KRI and KPI for monitoring and reporting of Identity Management metrics;
  • Developing design patterns for IAM use cases based on security best practices recommendation;
  • Leading IAM implementation projects from initiation to completion, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment and utilizing industry security frameworks, including NIST and other cyber security frameworks, to continuously assess and improve IAM security governance processes and controls.


The salary for this specific position in Chicago, IL is $172,547.37/year.

Salary:

$87,000.00 - $161,400.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
