The senior coordinator of Conferences/Events within the Marketing team will provide support for the overall strategy and planning for the Firm's events and marketing functions, and the delivery of multiple types of events across the Firm. Events, both virtual and in-person, are a critical means for the Firm to engage with key external and internal stakeholders in the advancement of client relationships and enhancement of internal morale and collaboration. As such this role is a key component of the Firm's client, business development and marketing strategy. This position is based out of KBRA's New York office.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $90,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.

About the Job:
- Assist in planning and executing logistics for standalone conferences, private events, sponsored conferences, hosted client dinners, and virtual programs, including budget preparation, site selection, hotel contract negotiations, branded social media collateral, catering, and speaker coordination.
- Support the organization and execution of internal events for employees, contributing to team building, engagement, and fostering a positive work culture through well-coordinated initiatives.
- Curate and develop engaging social media content to promote upcoming conferences and events, ensuring alignment with the Firm's branding and marketing objectives, and driving attendee engagement.
- Contribute to the development of event strategies by identifying new opportunities, trends, and innovative approaches to enhance engagement and business development outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, analytics, and client-facing departments, to ensure event strategies align with broader firm goals and to ensure seamless event execution.
- Prepare and manage event materials for onsite use by the conference planning team and attendees, including printing, event materials, and giveaways.
- Design, edit, and execute email marketing campaigns, as well as conference and event-related emails.
- Create, update, and manage conference websites and event landing pages.
- Maintain the event calendar company wide
- Manage onsite conference and meeting schedules
- Analyze post-event feedback and key performance indicators to evaluate event effectiveness and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement and ROI.
- Process conference registrations and associated travel arrangements.
- Handle billing reconciliation and invoice management for the Events department.
- Provide administrative support to Marketing Managers as needed.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Events, or Hospitality with 3-5 years in related field.
- Required advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of marketing technology and social platforms. Knowledge of Marketo and Zoom Meetings/Webinars is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong writing abilities.
- Strong relevant Event Management experience including multiple event types, webinars, teleconferences, round tables etc
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and agile in approach.
- Must be a team player, adaptable to fast-paced, changing environment; with ability to work closely with multiple departments.
- Must be forward looking, highly detail oriented, and proactive with proven project management skills.
- Proficiency in budget management.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Background knowledge of credit ratings and/or fixed income a plus.
Salary Range:
