The BEAM Professionals division of PBK focuses exclusively on the delivery of building envelope consulting services - roof replacement and repairs, forensic investigation, wind infiltration and indoor air quality. This role will support the Director with roofing and building envelope projects. Responsible for managing projects from start to completion, including repairs, replacements, and new construction.

Your Impact:
  • Monitor field and construction activities to ensure a quality product is delivered with the highest level of service and timeliness
  • Investigate by both destructive and non-destructive means and recommend course of action
  • Perform inspections and observations at existing facilities with respect to roofing or construction issues
  • Establish and monitor project files and review/create/maintain Project Directory
  • Develop and maintain new BEAM Professionals clientele while providing individual facilities management and new construction project assistance
  • Support team efforts and report to BEAM Professionals President on all project-related issues and team matters


Here's What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of seven years of work experience in an architectural/engineering consulting environment and/or minimum of seven years of work in construction industry
  • Strong supervisory and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in construction setting; You can set up and climb ladders, maneuver in and around buildings, and work in many types of weather conditions
  • Proficient in safely using cutting tools such as core cutters and utility knives, pliers, and screw guns for removing equipment/doors, hammers for driving probes and breaking into walls
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds


Here's How You'll Stand Out:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering or General Contractor experience
  • You have Credentials of Registered Roof Consultant (RRC); and/or Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC); and/or Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC)
  • You have Credentials of Registered Roof Observer (RRO); and/or Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO)
  • You are proficient in Autodesk Suites (Revit, AutoCAD)


Eligible employees receive an annual performance bonus depending on firm profitability and individual performance. BEAM employees are offered medical, dental, and vision insurance, an employee assistance program, a learning & development program, and an employee referral bonus program. A Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Savings Account (FSA) is available depending upon the employee's choice of health insurance coverage. Employees are also covered by life insurance and long-term disability insurance. Employees may enroll in the BEAM 401(k) plan with discretionary matching contributions after eligibility has been met. Employees accrue a minimum of 2 weeks of paid time off during their first year with BEAM, an additional week of paid time off during our winter break (12/26-12/31), 5 days of sick leave, and we observe 9 1/2 holidays. The expected pay range for this position, based on experience, skills, and knowledge applicable to the role is $100,000 - 130,000.
