Responsible for ensuring the Orlando GSE business unit can fulfill customer orders in a timely and cost-effective manner. Major areas of accountability include transactional leadership, strategic production planning, engineering change implementation oversight, identification of alternative material usage opportunities, safety observations, and supplier performance management. This role will be responsible for tactical execution of initiatives to achieve strategic goals. These efforts would include identifying early warning indicators, root cause analysis, identification and mitigation of risk.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Management of Plan for Every Part and transactional improvement initiatives
  • Continuous improvement champion that identifies waste, performs root cause analysis, and implements improvement opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to direct and develop staff and strategic supplier management prioritizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Focus on impactful solutions to eliminate inefficiencies that interrupt on time delivery of unit production. Ensure plant efficiency is maintained through effective cost control management
  • Actively manage indicators related to minimizing variances and maximizing cash flow
  • Key contributor to the development of production planning and strategic implementation
  • Mid and Long-Range Material Planning
  • Develop and expand the capability and effectiveness of direct reports
  • Leads warehouse management team to ensure transactional accountability of the cycle count program, material handling, and parts pulling process. Ensures material transactions are properly transacted in a timely manner.
  • Travel as required (mainly domestic, up to 20% annually)
  • Provide tactical oversight of safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Determine the cause of accidents, document findings, and suggest corrective actions. Encourage a culture of safety in the workplace. Perform regular safety inspections to check compliance.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Six plus years of related work experience
  • Experience managing or working directly with the tactical purchasing and planning departments in previous role

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or Master's degree in related field is preferred
  • Experience in supplier development is preferred
  • Experience in leading ERP implementation (Project Lead / SME) is preferred
  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment


Pay Range:
$91,800.00 - $153,200.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
