We're seeking someone to join our team as a Market Data Sourcing Specialist Lead to manage Strategic data provider relationship , be an advisor to business units and Market Data Analysts, do analysis of BU requirements and consumption drivers and development, negotiation, and execution of data agreements.
In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Vice President level position within Global Supplier Services, the Global Market Data (GMD) group includes Market Data Sourcing, Analyst, Administration, and Inventory Management functions. The Market Data Sourcing team manages the Firm's global procurement relationships with providers of market data content and services while partnering with Analysts and business units to evaluate, and understand business' market data requirements, to identify the data sources and vendor products needed to execute the business, and to influence and advise on best-fit solutions.

What you'll do in the role:
- Oversee and develop a team of 2-3 Market Data Sourcing Specialists, aligning with global objectives and managing performance metrics.
- Act as the primary contact for data vendors, managing relationships, and handling all aspects of contract negotiations and lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data providers, technology teams, and internal clients and colleagues to understand and integrate key data strategies, enhancing firm value.
- Maintain deep knowledge of managed vendors to provide strategic recommendations and improve business interactions.
- Lead strategic initiatives for product demonstrations, pilot projects, and competitive opportunities.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Business Management to address contractual, commercial, compliance, and relationship issues.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Candidate should possess financial services experience, particularly in managing supplier engagements and a broad range of consumer relationships. J.D. Degree focusing on contracts and intellectual property, a plus.
- Requires strong skills in negotiating complex agreements, with a deep understanding of data usage compliance and intellectual property rights.
- Possesses strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record in team development and mentorship.
- Must be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and gaining support for market data strategies.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and adaptable team player with the ability to analyze and clarify ambiguous requirements and business needs and translate them into actionable plans.
- Should have robust project management and organizational skills, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally some knowledge of Ariba and/or FITS-Market Data Inventory system.
- Candidate must have business level of English language skills in both verbal and written communication.
- Minimum 7-9 years in finance/banking.
