An important aspect of patient unmet need includes helping them start and stay on their medicine for the best chance at treatment success. The Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) organization serves patients, during their treatment journey with Johnson & Johnson therapies, to help overcome challenges to fulfillment, on-boarding and adherence.

The Associate Director, Financial Services Portfolio Delivery will manage go to market activities across the financial services portfolio, including all program communications. The individual will lead a team of specialists focused on driving consistency across communications and leading CAC/CET process coordination for the financial services team. The Financial Services Portfolio Delivery leader will lead a team of individuals collaborating with TA focused peers and Call Center Solutions teams to coordinate relevant operational updates such as plans for fulfillment of mail and email content and call script updates. This role requires close collaboration with the solutions leaders across the organization including, but not limited External Call Center Solutions, Lifecycle Solutions, Digital Product Solutions, CAC team members, and JJT. Additionally, working across other patient solutions teams to drive consistency in all communications extended to patients and providers.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Financial Services Portfolio Delivery creates a communications plan and strategy that will ensure efficient, effective and consistent communications across the financial service portfolio of solutions.

Their day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Communications Strategy & Planning: Build a communications engine that supports effective, efficient and consistent communications to patients and providers across the various patient support programs.
  • Collaborate: Partner with multiple stakeholders across Call Center Solutions, JJT, Patient Support Programs, and other external/internal partners to develop and execute well-planned communications.
  • Customer Experience: Prioritize customer experience in the development of communications enabling solutions experiences that positively differentiates J&J Innovative Medicine.
  • Solution Excellence: Use voice of customer, internal and external benchmarking to ensure communications are effective, consistent, and clear.
  • Communications & Project Planning: Plan and communicate overall communications delivery plans with critical stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Culture: Support a culture of learning, smart risk-taking and experimentation

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 7 years of healthcare business experience is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or patient services preferred.
  • Experience in communications development, copy approval, and communications delivery is preferred.
  • Experience in at least one of the areas below is required (a mix of experiences across several of these domains is preferred): Patient access, call center operations, healthcare patient experience, and providers in the US market
  • Ability to lead without direct authority and influence a diverse group of team members to inspire change in a matrixed organization is required; comfort working in "white space" preferred
  • Conceptual understanding of data platforms, flow of information and technology platforms to design and deliver compliant patient access & affordability communications preferred.
  • Analytics translation with strong ability to interpret data and make informed projections/assertions to support a business strategy and metrics to assess success is preferred.
  • Demonstrates conviction, proactivity and persistence when influencing others and overcoming resistance. Is agile and can adjust plans as priorities shift and maintains composure is required.
  • Communication. Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to simplify the complex, connect with an audience, and effectively use communication to influence and engage across all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record for forging strong, productive relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Collaboration. Effectively work in a team environment that will require you to coordinate activities and build partnerships across multiple internal/external organizations.

This position is based in Titusville, NJ and requires up to 25% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
