Job Description
Join our Power Delivery team and lead overhead and underground line design projects. You'll manage distribution line projects locally and beyond, providing technical leadership and overseeing all aspects of larger projects.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead projects from scope development to closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget management.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise engineers, designers, and staff.
- Client Interaction: Engage with utility and developer clients.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure world-class quality through QA/QC processes.
- Team Development: Build and supervise a local distribution team, managing workload, quality, and team morale.
- Business Development: Support broader business development activities.
- 5+ years in Transmission Line Design/Engineering.
- PLS CADD experience.
- PE license in civil or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Excellent client management and business development skills.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Ability to work with diverse teams.
- Experience with data center and renewables projects.
- Cost estimation and BOM development.
- Proficiency in electrical and planning analysis software.
- Experience with CAD software for Electrical Distribution.
- Experience with reliability and grid modernization projects.
