Job Overview:

As a Clinical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in developing the skills of our clinical team at LaserAway. This position involves extensive travel to various clinic locations to deliver new hire training, advanced training, and ongoing support after clinic openings. You will be responsible for equipping clinicians with proficiency and confidence in performing aesthetic procedures and using laser technology through hands-on coaching and practical training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to clinic locations to conduct hands-on training for new hires, advanced techniques for experienced clinicians, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth clinic operations following openings.
  • Deliver practical training on laser technology and aesthetic procedures, ensuring clinicians are confident, proficient, and capable of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Guide clinicians on effectively using platforms such as LMS, ADP, Deputy, and PULSE 2.0 to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with company protocols.
  • Regularly evaluate training programs for effectiveness, gather feedback, and implement improvements to address identified gaps or evolving clinical needs.
  • Monitor MXM survey detractors and patient feedback to proactively refine training approaches and elevate the overall patient experience.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, advancements in aesthetic procedures, and LaserAway's SOPs to continually improve the training curriculum and standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development by engaging clinicians in ongoing skill enhancement opportunities and fostering team collaboration.
  • Step into patient care roles as needed to cover shifts, ensure seamless clinic operations, and provide real-time mentorship and support to clinicians.
  • Build training schedules and coordinate model appointments to ensure clinicians have hands-on practice opportunities during training.
  • Provide immediate feedback and coaching to clinicians during and after training sessions to reinforce best practices and address areas for improvement.
  • Identify additional training needs and collaborate with the Clinical Training Team to address skill gaps and implement targeted development plans.
  • Work closely with Location Directors, Regional Sales Directors, and other stakeholders to develop staff improvement plans and align clinical goals with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on LaserAway's products, procedures, and clinical best practices to guide team members effectively.
  • Foster engagement and ongoing professional growth among clinicians, ensuring they remain motivated, skilled, and aligned with LaserAway's standards and values.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current, state-issued [RN/NP/PA] license.
  • Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in clinical training within medical aesthetics. Training experience is required for external candidates.
  • Availability: Must be available for regional travel and occasional evening or weekend shifts to meet training and clinic needs.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in laser technology and aesthetic procedures, with strong presentation and communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attributes: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and travel extensively to specified clinic locations to support training and operations.
  • Professionalism: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with a commitment to upholding LaserAway's brand standards and dedication to clinical excellence and patient care.

Travel Requirements: Travel throughout region - Park Meadows, Berkeley (Tennyson), Denver (Cherry Creek), Boulder, Belmar, Lakewood, ABQ

Home Location: Denver (Cherry Creek) but flexible

Coverage primarily includes the locations listed above; however, it may extend beyond these based on business needs.

Compensation: $115,000- $125,000 based on experience.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
  • Mobility and Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the clinic for extended periods to assist with patient care and operate equipment as needed.
  • Fine Motor Skills: Proficient in handling medical tools, operating laser equipment, and performing precise, repetitive movements required for treatments.
  • Lifting and Equipment Handling: Ability to safely lift, move, and maneuver clinic equipment, including heavier devices and applicators, which may weigh up to 25 pounds.
  • Laser Operation: Comfort and skill in using laser and other specialized aesthetic devices, following all safety protocols to ensure effective and safe treatment outcomes.
  • Flexibility and Reach: Capable of bending, stretching, and reaching to adjust equipment, prepare treatment areas, and assist patients.
  • Coordination and Dexterity: Proficient in eye-hand-foot coordination for effective use of aesthetic devices, and comfortable with operating medical equipment and devices in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Protective Gear and Visual Requirements: Comfortable wearing protective eyewear and working with equipment that may involve flashing lights and other sensory requirements.
