As an HR Business Partner at Ford, you'll be a strategic partner and change agent, partnering with senior leaders in Engineering, Product Development, or Supply Chain to drive impactful people strategies that fuel business success. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of Ford through our Ford+ transformation by developing and executing HR initiatives that directly impact product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner Director and your peers to cultivate a high-performing, engaged workforce.

This HR Business Partner will support Product Development, Vehicle Hardware Engineering, or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will:
  • Provide strategic HR consulting and coaching: Provide expert HR consulting and coaching to business leaders, diagnosing and addressing critical people and organizational challenges that impact business performance. This includes providing guidance on talent management, performance optimization, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Champion change and innovation: Lead organizational design and change management initiatives, guiding teams through significant transformations and ensuring seamless adoption of new structures and processes.
  • Drive Proactive People Strategies: Partner with leadership to develop and implement forward-thinking People & Culture strategies that directly support business objectives. This includes anticipating future workforce needs and developing innovative solutions to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Partner effectively with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, etc.) to deliver integrated HR solutions that meet the unique needs of the business. This includes workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and executive recruitment.
  • Translate Business Needs into HR Solutions: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage HR programs and initiatives to drive business results, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Analyze Data and Insights: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, measure the impact of HR programs, and inform decision-making


Qualifications

You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of progressive HR business partner experience with a proven track record of driving strategic HR initiatives and delivering measurable business results.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational design, change management, and implementing HR programs that support business transformation.
  • This position is based in Dearborn, Michigan and requires a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite). We are seeking candidates who are either local to the area or willing to relocate.

Even better, you may have...
  • Master's degree in human resources, MBA with a concentration in Human Resources, or a related field (e.g., Industrial/Organizational Psychology).
  • Experience in a large, complex organization in any industry.
  • Management consulting experience focused on HR strategy and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) and demonstrated ability to manage complex projects to successful completion.
