We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!
At the Bloomington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, we are dedicated to helping patients reclaim their independence and quality of life. As a 40-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility, we provide exceptional care to individuals recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions. Our compassionate, interdisciplinary team is committed to delivering personalized therapy in a supportive and healing environment.
In 2024, BRRH was named in the Top 10% of Rehabilitation Hospitals in the nation according to Uniform Data Systems.
As CEO, YOU will be the MARKET MAKER, sharing our outstanding patient outcomes with other healthcare leaders, physicians, and providers in the greater Bloomington area! In addition, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the hospital ensuring that the day-to-day functions of the hospital are effectively and efficiently coordinated, implemented, and conducted within our Guiding Principles. The CEO creates a positive, team-oriented culture that embraces community engagement, strong patient satisfaction and employee engagement by focusing on high performance and continuous improvement and commitment to sustaining the high quality care of our patients.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years' administrative management experience in a health care setting preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Working knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to hospital administration.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of hospital management and operations.
- Demonstrates capacity for leadership and management in a complex and changing healthcare setting.
- Demonstrates the spirit of the philosophy, mission, and values of the hospital through words and actions and implements them into departmental processes, programs, and the working environment.
- Demonstrates a professional leadership style that earns the respect and cooperation of others.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Ability to develop and maintain good relations with staff, physicians, patients, families, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
