Job Summary:
The Digital Content Senior Manager is responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating digital content that helps the Museum expand its reach, engagement, and awareness. Duties include execution of high quality, sharable content that resonates and reflects the Museum's voice and vision.
Work Schedule: This role is a full time, onsite role.

Salary: $$94,000 annually; comprehensive benefits package including medical plan, dental plan, vision, life insurance, pension plan, 401K retirement, and generous paid time off.

Job Summary:
The Digital Content Senior Manager is responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating digital content that helps the Museum expand its reach, engagement, and awareness. Duties include execution of high quality, sharable content that resonates and reflects the Museum's voice and vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Creative Manager to project manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams in digital initiative projects including digital strategy, engagement strategy and website synergy.
- Responsible for content strategy, creation and engagement across all Museum social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & Reels.
- Develop and own shared editorial calendars to ensure daily updates to all social media platforms.
- Work with Creative Coordinator / Implement daily logistics of the social media agenda.
- Conducts monthly audits on all social media accounts; recording KPIs to track engagement and inform necessary changes to content strategy.
- Copywrite and edit content received from Museum departments to adapt to communications campaigns and media platforms.
- Assist in various marketing-related activities with the Creative team, both on-site and off, as needed.
- Generate ideas on how to repurpose and maximize exposure for existing digital content.
- Keep up to date on digital content and ever-changing social media trends, including related technology and delivery strategies. Propose new initiatives and opportunities.
- Manage updates to the Museum's website - page builds, internal change order requests and general maintenance.
- Manages and makes updates to Museum external digital listings such as Google & Yelp. Maximize SEO
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- BA, BS in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years related experience
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Photoshop, as well as proficient in the
- following: Illustrator, InDesign or other graphic programs
- Advanced layout and design capabilities
- Knowledge of HTML; experience with WordPress a plus
- Experience with Mail chimp suggested
- Experience with various social media platforms
- Must have excellent communication skills (spoken and written), along with good organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of both text and images
- Excellent project management skills/detail oriented
- Analytical skills
- Superb creative writing and strong editing skills
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, move about, and access and operate equipment.
- The ability to receive and communicate information and instructions so others will understand.
- Ability to lift and move, up to fifteen (15) pounds.
