Location: Omaha, NE 68104
Description:
Requisition ID: 176022
Job Level: Senior Level
Home District/Group: DHO Kiewit Data Services
Department: Data Services
Market: Corporate Home Office
Employment Type: Full Time
Position Overview
If you are a motivated and experienced data analytics professional seeking to make a significant impact in the construction industry, we invite you to apply to our Data Analytics Manager position to support our Equipment Data Domain. This position plays a critical role in shaping and executing Kiewit's data strategy within the equipment function. Sitting at the intersection of the data services team, Kiewit's Equipment organization, and the operational leaders who build our work, this role is uniquely positioned to deliver outsized impact across the business. Kiewit operates the largest privately owned construction equipment fleet in North America, generating a high volume of data from equipment acquisition, utilization, telematics, and cost tracking. The scale of this data presents a tremendous opportunity to drive meaningful results.
This role works closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data analytics use cases and translate them into actionable roadmaps. The primary mission is twofold: to curate a rich, high-quality, sustainable data asset for the equipment domain and to build and nurture impactful data products and solutions. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Data Strategy within the Kiewit Data Services department.
This is a high-value, dynamic leadership role, not a hands-on technical position. While some initial hands-on work may be necessary to accelerate progress, the primary focus is on leading strategy, shaping roadmaps, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical work across the equipment domain. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical foundation and aspire to grow into higher-level leadership. The right person will thrive in ambiguity, take initiative without a prescribed playbook, and dive headfirst into building and driving our equipment data strategy from the ground up.
