We are searching for a Director, Finance Operations - Tableware to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Director, Finance Operations - Tableware is responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of plant financial reporting and analysis, standard costs, capital projects, cost savings programs, month end closings, working capital management and other related initiatives/activities.

  • Monitor manufacturing financial performance by analyzing results and initiating corrective actions to eliminate unfavorable plant manufacturing variances.
  • Responsible for ensuring plants adhere to RCP financial policies and procedures.
  • Review complex data and analytics from rolled up comprehensive sources for accuracy and provide high level summary information to support decision-making process.
  • Define the process for analyzing results and providing information to support the decision-making process.
  • Oversee plant reporting process and ensure reporting is completed on time and without error. Ensure business/department standards for reporting are met as well as prepared in accordance with internal/external guidelines and policies.
  • Provide leadership insight and support for monthly results, forecasts, annual operating plan and strategic outlooks that allow the business to anticipate future impacts and assist in developing alternative plans as well as ensuring that results are grounded.
  • Establish and oversee proper controls and compliance processes for a business, function, or process.
  • Communicate results/drivers and forecasts to senior divisional and / or corporate leadership.
  • Foster an organizational environment that values process improvement and sponsors efforts/supports functional initiatives to improve processes.
  • Set objectives and measure performance of operations finance team and ensure team's objectives and day to day activities are aligned with corporate and business unit objectives. Appropriately prioritize team's projects and assignments.

Ultimately you will assist the leadership in making financial decisions regarding the manufacturing arm of the business.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 10+ years of related experience, Operations Finance/Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in a large manufacturing environment.
  • Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring a staff.
  • Prior experience in a large manufacturing environment.
  • Broad Operations Finance/Accounting/Finance experience with exposure to a wide range of business functions and demonstrated leadership.


Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • CPA, CMA Certification.
  • Consumer packaged goods experience.

Posted Salary Range

USD $175,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 25% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
