Wood are hiring a Vice President Growth & Development for Strategic Accounts, the role is responsible for leading the Strategic Account Management program for the Operations business unit (BU), to position for long term growth.
The successful candidate will proactively drive growth within the Operations BU by increasing the market share Wood hold with our top customers. The role will be full time and solely dedicated to growing Wood's global revenues and sales pipeline through service broadening and deepening as well as geographic growth opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators will apply to the role to ensure delivery against the Operations Key Account Management strategy.

Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough account plan for each strategic client, detailing the growth ambition, strategy to grow the account, performance status and zippering
- Actively lead the development and maintenance of deep and effective relationships at multiple levels within the client's organization which stimulate new growth opportunities
- Increasing our knowledge of customer strategy, spend and intent through robust relationships
- Working with the Business Groups (BGs), both operational and G&D leaders, to map out the global vision and plan for our desired growth
- Work closely with BG G&D to take active role in the Identify and Acquire phases for client pipeline opportunities
- Develop a pipeline of pro-active growth opportunities through service expansion within existing contracts, regions and new geographic expansion
- Working in complete partnership with Global Account Managers with cross BU alignment as appropriate
- Ensure growth KPIs are in place for each strategic account, and be accountable for reporting progress against these monthly
- Harnessing and aligning Wood's capability, leveraging existing relationships and pull through opportunities from Consulting and Projects
- Drive effective cross-selling across Wood, ensuring that Wood's service offering is fully understood by our clients and that cross-selling is maximized
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and business objectives leading to enhanced client satisfaction
- Engage and collaborate with regional teams to ensure that client feedback, ICF responses and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Establish an internal network in order to maintain a good working knowledge of operational performance for the client
- Monitor and analyze account performance, utilizing data-driven insights to identify trends, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional teams to identify and mitigate any areas of reputational or relationship risk
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics that could impact key account management strategies. Apply this knowledge to drive innovation, proactively address challenges, and maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Requires senior level experience in a client facing leadership role, account management, sales, or a related field. Previous experience in the energy industry is preferred.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and revenue generation
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
