Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with the company's goals and growth objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, product, customer experience, and IT, to implement the eCommerce strategy effectively.
- Identify and capitalize on new digital revenue opportunities, both regionally and globally.
Platform Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of the company's eCommerce website, ensuring high performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure the technical infrastructure supports business growth and customer needs.
- Ensure the website and mobile platforms are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for maximum performance across devices.
- Assist as needed with order selection and fulfillment
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor site performance, customer behavior, and digital marketing effectiveness.
- Create and analyze reports on KPIs (key performance indicators) such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Implement A/B testing and customer segmentation strategies to improve customer engagement and increase sales.
Customer Experience & Engagement:
- Focus on delivering an exceptional, seamless customer journey from browsing to purchase, including site navigation, product discovery, checkout, and post-purchase experience.
- Implement personalized content and promotions based on customer data and behaviors.
- Foster customer loyalty through effective CRM strategies, including email marketing, retargeting, and loyalty programs.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, IT, and logistics teams to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor strategies to keep the eCommerce business competitive.
Budget & P&L Management:
- Manage the eCommerce budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet revenue targets.
- Track and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and increased profitability.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth, managing P&L, and optimizing eCommerce platforms.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), website analytics (Google Analytics), and digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, email marketing, CRM).
- Strong understanding of eCommerce analytics, user experience, and conversion optimization.
- Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically to meet business goals.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
