Summary
The primary function of the Administrator- Bariatric Weight Loss Services is to work with Administrative and Clinical leadership in providing direction for development, growth, and management of Cape Fear Valley Health System's Bariatric Weight Loss Service.At least five years experience physician office management is desirable. Experience working directly with physicians is required. Must have excellent skills with computer spreadsheets and the ability to interpret data. Must be able to compile data from multiple sources and not be afraid to dig to find data. Be able to identify trends. Experience with Personal Computer, Transcription Equipment, Electronic Calculator, Fax Machine, and Copy Machine. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with hospital management, physicians and outside organizations. Present a professional and executive image to effectively present proposals and favorably influence clients. Ability to be effective with little or no day-to-day supervision. Possess and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, be results-oriented, and exemplify a team player attitude. Ability to demonstrate effective leadership traits and competently execute decisions. Maintain a current breadth of knowledge of local, regional and national Practice Management and Managed Health Care trends. Must be willing and able to work on a variety of activities and projects. Ability to travel to various locations throughout Cape Fear Valley Health System's service area. Position requires a flexible schedule to meet and discuss issues at customer and physicians convenience. Perform any additional functions requested by the Vice President of Ambulatory Services.Must be able to stand/walk up to 50% of shift. Must be able to sit up to 50% of shift. Must be able to bend up to 10% of shift. Must be able to lift/carry equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs. Must be able to utilize keyboard and view computer screen up to 50% of shift. Must have good visual and hearing acuity. May require attendance at meetings outside "regular duty hours". No anticipated occupation exposures.
