As the SCADA Software System Team Lead you will be responsible for the design, programing, and implementation of our SCADA system(s), as well as providing day to day operational support for the system(s). You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, while honing your skills in system management.You will also increase your knowledge of developments and trends in utility and SCADA systems industry. Additionally, you'll play a key role in strategic decision-making and project coordination, driving initiatives that support our mission for 100% uptime. Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Lead in the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing operation of existing and new integrations and operational technologies.
- Developing roadmap for system life cycle and manage project for SCADA system upgrade and transition between old and new environments.
- Work closely with Field Technicians to configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from the SCADA System to field RTUs.
- Maintain adherence to the change management process
- Create detailed documentation of end-to-end solution.
- Ensure thorough monitoring is in place to identify application, and database issues. Respond to system issues and any cyber related incidents promptly.
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot SCADA software and server, identify root cause issues, and a mindset for physical and cyber safety.
- Having critical decision-making and drive team initiatives is essential to maintain 100% uptime our OT system(s).
- Responsible for coordination of all Business Continuity Plan exercises and Disaster Recovery drills.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Master's Degree Preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math/Science and Minimum 2 years' work experience Hands-on work experience in SCADA
- Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math/Science and Minimum 3 years' work experience Hands-on work experience in SCADA
- Associate's Degree Preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math/Science and Minimum 5 years' work experience Hands-on work experience in SCADA
- High School Diploma/GED and Minimum 7 years' work experience Hands-on work experience in SCADA
- Master's Degree Preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math/Science and Minimum 2 years' work experience Hands-on work experience in SCADA
- Able to act as a coach and mentor for assigned team members with the ability to transfer knowledge to various audiences. Required
- Experience with AAVEVA Enterprise SCADA(formerly OASyS DNA) Application or similar technology Required
- Knowledge of cyber security Preferred
- At least three (3) year of managerial/supervisory experience Preferred
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, network topology, and control systems are highly desirable. Preferred
- Experience in regulated operating environments Preferred
- Experience in application, programming/development in .Net, MS SQL Preferred
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment. Preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Develops and delivers effective presentations
- Project Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability to lead/manage others
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion
- Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
- Driver's License Required
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
