Description:

Delaware Nation Industries/Indigenous Technologies works with AFLCMC located at Tinker AFB, OK to provide remote support to the Air Force's Core Engine Maintenance System. We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer specializing in Automation to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Propulsion Integration Division (AFLCMC/LPZ), in support of the Core Engine Maintenance System (CEMS) Program Management Office (PMO). The Test Engineer - Automation will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of CEMS software across Development, Test, and Production environments.

The ability to obtain a security clearance is REQUIRED.

This position is 100% remote.

  • Develop and implement automated test plans, strategies, and scripts for the CEMS application.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support ongoing development and sustainment efforts.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report findings to identify software defects and recommend improvements.
  • Perform thorough regression testing and validate fixes for identified bugs.
  • Manage all application testing activities across multiple environments, including GAT (Government Acceptance Testing) environments.
  • Integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure early detection defects.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to align automated testing with CEMS objectives and requirements.
  • Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to ensure continued accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Utilize tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Atlassian Zephyr Scale for automated testing.
  • Support system availability, reliability, and performance goals exceeding 99% system uptime for the Air Force propulsion community.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automated testing and test engineering.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing strategies, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Experience performing regression testing and troubleshooting software defects.
  • Experience working in a structured SDLC environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
