Description:
BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of revenue operations. Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and revenue optimization initiatives that maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning in the market. Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in Revenue Management practices and the ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive information to make data driven decisions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of revenue directors, managers, analysts, and yield specialists to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Create strategies to drive all teams to work cohesively, optimizing each to maximize revenue.
Foster a collaborative environment where team members contribute ideas and insights to improve revenue management practices.
Enhance the development and execution of pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
Provide insights into pricing and promotional performance, using metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer segments to optimize pricing structures and enhance overall revenue growth.
Identify and implement opportunities for revenue leakage reduction and margin improvement.
Design, plan, and implement promotional campaigns that drive sales and increase brand awareness while maintaining profitability.
Define strategy and develop business case; execute on the plan for the development of core operational capabilities.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience. Master's Degree in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 10 years experience in revenue/operations/management within hospitality, tourism, cruise or resort industry and or cruise line experience in related activities.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proven management skills and the ability to lead and motivate team members. Extensive knowledge of Revenue Management including pricing and promotional initiatives. Ability to perform financial and operation analysis. Proficiency in revenue management systems, pricing tools, and Microsoft Excel.
