Job Summary
The Vice President of Products will lead our software product strategy and development initiatives. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth, innovation, managing product lifecycles, determining investment priorities, and ensuring our software offerings align with market demands and company goals.

Responsibilities:
Participate in strategic/business planning process setting the vision, goals, and objectives for our software product portfolio in alignment with company strategy and direction.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch and support, ensuring products meet customer and market demands.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of product managers and developers, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities, guiding product roadmap decisions to identify new product offerings and to ensure our existing products remain competitive.
Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics, ensuring profitability and ROI targets are met ensuring efficient resource allocation. Use this analysis to manage our portfolio of products, determining where we can obtain the most revenue, and where we should invest for greatest future growth.
Set operational and revenue goals for software products that align with the priorities, initiatives, thrusts, and direction of the company.
Review organization and staffing of product support functions, including development, support, documentation, and product management. Determine in which cases resources should be assigned to individual products vs. cases where resources will support groups of products.
Lead our plan to broaden the market where we are selling Decision Resources product portfolio.
Partner with marketing, sales, and client success to ensure growth and customer satisfaction goals are obtained.
Demonstrate and be a positive example of the application of core values in your interactions with employees, partners, and customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience in product management with a successful track record of bringing business to business software products to market, preferably in the SMB Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and eCommerce, and AI markets.
Deep understanding of the software development processes and agile methodologies.
Understanding of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, which need to be incorporated into our product portfolio. Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a clear understanding of the SMB market dynamics and customer needs.
Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of the SMB ERP market preferably with experience in the discrete, engineer-to-order, food & beverage, and process markets.

Education:
Bachelor's degree; MBA or Masters in Computer Science, and related field experience is desired.
