We are seeking a talented and driven Analytics Engineer/Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in building the foundation for data and analytics to support our business objectives. This position involves designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics platforms, working with the GTM team (Sales, Marketing, Finance, CS/TAM). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for data, and a collaborative mindset to partner with business teams and enable data-driven decision-making. This is a full time position and can be remote or on-site/hybrid in one of our offices in Palo Alto or Newport Beach.

They will be responsible for transforming, testing, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines that provide clean, usable datasets to end users. As a bridge between data engineering and data analysis, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, build data models and dashboards, automating data workflows, ensuring the integrity and quality of the data, and providing training on data visualization tools to empower business users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Transformation & Modeling: Design, develop, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to transform raw data into clean, structured datasets that are easy to analyze and visualize.
  • Data Automation: Automate data workflows using modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow) to ensure data is continuously updated and ready for analysis.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business teams to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and build data solutions that empower decision-making across the organization.
  • Dashboard & Reporting Development: Build and maintain critical business dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma Computing) that provide actionable insights into key metrics and performance.
  • Forecasting & Analytics: Support business intelligence and analytics functions by delivering data models that help forecast trends, identify patterns, and provide deep insight.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity through continuous testing and validation. Maintain detailed documentation for all data models and transformations.
  • User Enablement: Provide training and support to business users on how to utilize data visualization tools and interpret insights from dashboards and reports.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and data engineering
  • Data Engineering & Analytics: Strong experience in data modeling, ETL development, and working with large datasets. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Stitch).
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in SQL for querying and managing databases. Experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Expertise in creating reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Sigma Computing
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Knowledge of best practices for data validation, quality checks, and maintaining clean, usable datasets.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear documentation and user training.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex data issues, optimize data processes, and think critically about how to best serve the needs of the business.

Pay Transparancy

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for equity awards and may be eligible for incentive compensation based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.

Base Salary Range

$113,000-$158,000 USD
