The Royal Caribbean Group's Onboard Sales Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Onboard Future Cruise Sales reporting to the Director, Onboard Cruise Sales.

Position Summary:
The Lead, Onboard Sales position will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the NextCruise program which currently generates over 300,000 bookings and $550 million net ticket revenue (NTR) annually. This position through collaboration with the Director, Onboard Sales and Senior Manager, Onboard Sales, will be responsible for developing the strategic development and execution of onboard sales initiatives that meets or exceeds department KPI's. Leveraging technology and innovative marketing strategies across all pre-cruise, digital, trade, and onboard channels will be key in that achievement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing sales and marketing programs, introducing ideas for technology enhancements that drives productivity and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue and implement new business opportunities to expand onboard sales and revenue streams in all global markets, with a heavy focus on North America guests and sailings.
- This role will be instrumental in enhancing engagement with Domestic and International Trade partners, who currently generate close to $200 million in net ticket revenue (NTR). Responsibilities include analyzing market trends and feedback to uncover new avenues for collaboration, developing targeted strategies to engage trade partners effectively, and implementing initiatives that foster strong relationships and drive sales penetration and growth.
- Oversees the coordination of over 150 shipboard team members and their awareness and knowledge of all monthly promotions.
- Oversees the coordination and management of logistics between shoreside sales teams and onboard NextCruise teams for scheduling and facilitation of Ship Tours and Seminar at Sea educational programs for trade partners. This includes building engaging PowerPoint presentations and talk tracks to ensure that onboard teams are delivering effective trade education training to enhance the educational experience for attendees and strengthen trade partnerships.
- Will be instrumental in working with Director, Onboard Sales and Senior Manager, Onboard Sales in collaborative sessions with Revenue Management on promotion development.
- Collaborate with the Legal team to develop appropriate terms and conditions for new offers and any changes to existing products.
- Lead cross-functional collaborations with Trade Marketing, Onboard Marketing, Digital teams, and web content teams to create impactful promotional campaigns across traditional and digital marketing channels identifying key initiatives aimed at maximizing sales and enhancing guest and trade experience.
- Manage the ongoing updates and revisions of all promotional offer flyers on a monthly basis to reflect changes in offers. This includes communication of new promotion details and distributing updated collateral across all channels, including Trade, Customer Outreach (CO), Casino, International, and Loyalty programs.
- Oversee the maintenance of the internal NextCruise SharePoint site, including uploading and organization of all onboard marketing materials.
- Manage and audit content across multiple channels (TV, flyers, digital, web) to ensure consistency and alignment with marketing strategies and Royal Caribbean brand standards.
- Create and develop guest presentation PowerPoints that effectively communicate onboard offerings and initiatives, enhancing guest engagement and understanding of the NextCruise program and Royal Caribbean ships and destinations.
- Proactively works across all areas involved in the development and execution of marketing and promotional programs, including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, Finance, Purchasing, and Inventory Management to ensure that programs convey desired messages, run on time and are cost-effective. Working with the other internal departments to ensure the NextCruise department is kept in mind and part of the planning process.
- Collaborate with third party vendors and agency partners on creative and content development to create engaging TV content, including a comprehensive program of destination programming for the NextCruise TV channel onboard.
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns to address individual needs across all international booking channels, ensuring that messaging resonates with diverse audiences and varying policies and legal requirements.
- Work closely with vendors and internal marketing teams to ensure that all promotional documents are accurately translated and culturally adapted for international markets.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, technology, and business development, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, with strong skillset in PowerPoint.
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth through innovative marketing and technology initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and sales analytics platforms.
- Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and a passion for innovation.
