Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area within the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of BSA, AML regulations, and other relevant compliance laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager).
- Experience in a senior leadership role within a financial institution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the bank's BSA and compliance policies and procedures.
- Oversee the monitoring and reporting of suspicious activity and ensure timely filing of SARs.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters and regulatory changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage examinations and audits.
