Primary Purpose:
Develops and provides actionable insights driven by Electric Reliability Data to support company goals. Development of these insights will require leveraging data from a variety of sources to assess operational risk and drive process and procedure changes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs complex analysis in support of client's business needs. Analyzes data and evaluates results to choose best solution and solve problems. Determines recommendations to be taken based on the applicable information.
- Primary point of contact for a wide range for clients regarding key business issues as they relate to Electric Reliability.
- Presents data through written reports, metrics, and data visualization.
- Identifies potential areas of weakness with assigned work, and initiate corrective action.
- Provides professional engineering service and support in the planning, construction, operation, maintenance, and analysis of the company's facilities and assets.
- Identifies infrastructure improvements to reinforce and modernize the Distribution Grid.
- Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Hybrid Schedule:
- Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow the employee to work onsite three days per week and remotely on the remaining workdays.
- Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or Professional Engineer (PE) certification in addition to five (5) years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 8 years related engineering experience.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the state of California.

- Project/Program Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time
- Requirements Management - The process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements and then controlling change and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
- Specifications Development - Understanding the context, stakeholders and requirements of a project, and developing measurable criteria by which projects can be evaluated.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management - The systematic approach to maintain health and safety at occupation and protect the environment.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring an organization's adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes.
- Data Analysis & Modeling - The process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, making predictions, and supporting decision-making.
- Ability to write and present clear and efficient insights developed through analysis.
- Relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Master's Degree in Engineering.
