As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a key role in planning, constructing, and executing various types of software testing, including system, unit, load, and network testing. Working closely with the QA Lead and cross-functional teams, you will ensure the highest quality of software releases through defined testing methodologies, proper release control processes, and adherence to industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include test planning, execution, documentation, and coordination with development teams for the Project.
Key Responsibilities:
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $55.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.

Working closely with the QA Lead and cross-functional teams, you will ensure the highest quality of software releases through defined testing methodologies, proper release control processes, and adherence to industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include test planning, execution, documentation, and coordination with development teams for the Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
- Perform system integration testing (SIT) and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Utilize Microsoft Test Manager and Team Foundation Server for test management and tracking.
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools like LoadUI.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using Agile methodologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and testing best practices.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating testing activities with business users.
- Support the release process by validating production readiness of applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with SOAP UI, LoadUI, and performance/load testing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience with Microsoft Test Manager and Team Foundation Server (DevOps version).
- Familiarity with LDAP for authentication/authorization testing.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of Agile testing methodology and practices.
- Ability to create and manage detailed test plans, scenarios, and documentation.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to facilitate effective testing.
