• ResponsibilitiesResponsible for collaborating within a Scrum team to translate designs and ideas into new or improved applications. Prioritize and track work through daily Scrum calls and sprint cycles. Develop and test code with a focus on Java, Spring Boot and SQL. Participate in release activities every five weeks to ensure seamless deployment. Work on a mix of scripting, and back-end technologies during different sprint cycles. Stay up to date with AWS platforms and services, open-source tools, and new technologies to incorporate into product development. Guide projects, providing mentorship to junior developers. Balance user story assignments by considering technical interests and priorities of the team.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and five (5) years of related experience.
• Work Experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; SOA; OOP; JEE design; Websphere Application Server; Eclipse IDE; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; SQL Data Store - Oracle; Spring Boot; SQL.
