What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the coordination and execution of initiatives related to core trading and market data experiences for Direct Investing. You will be a change management leader and will work with key stakeholders, the broader RBC enterprise, and with external partners to deliver differentiated client solutions that capture and reinforce the client relationship, as well as optimize value for the bank. You will act as a champion for the client and implement a best-in class capabilities and client experiences, which are ready to operationalize and scale into our normal business practices and digital channels.

What will you do?
  • Lead a team of digital product managers and assist with day to day operational and mentorships support
  • Provide thoughtful feedback, guidance, and leadership to members of the team
  • Establishes and leads the implementation of the strategy and vision for Digital Investment products related to Trading and Market data; adjusting the product roadmap as market conditions, technology, competitors, or business priorities change
  • Communicate professionally and purposefully with stakeholders and senior leaders, across the organization, to continuously deliver against overall strategic direction and program OKRs
  • Maintain a pulse of the innovation and progress in the industry and bring forward capabilities to provide best-in-class and differentiated experiences for clients
  • Develop relationships across RBC Digital to align roadmaps, develop efficiencies through leveraging existing capabilities, and implementing similar patterns of client interaction
  • Define OKRs to propel success of the various initiatives and develop robust analytics to monitor effectiveness of key strategies and deliver actionable insights to drive decision making
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and are interested in leading and executing projects from concept through implementation
  • Understand the processes and requirements to successfully lead a project in agile framework


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Proven ability as a self-starter, creative problem solver
  • Vendor management experience
  • 7+ years Program/Product launch experience, ideally on investment products on digital platforms
  • Strong analytical capabilities, ability to take complex data analysis and translate and action as business insights
  • Strategic business sense, agility, and creative mindset with proven ability to effectively partner/work and succeed in a complex environment
  • History of making an impact, developing, and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term with a demonstrated ability to identify and act upon business opportunities


Nice-To-Have
  • Education or experience in business and data strategy and/or analytics
  • Digital product management experience
  • Superior impact and influence skills coupled with the ability to navigate a complex matrix organization, and the ability to instinctively engage others to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to adapt and understand complex topics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of client/UX and deep understanding of digital consumer behavior
  • Organizational awareness and demonstrated relationship building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen using positive influence
