Summary

The Director of Life Safety will be responsible for maintaining Life Safety components/systems by directing the E.O.C. Department's Fire Safety Team members for MHS to include off-site locations which includes Stella Marris.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree in Safety or Environmental Science, or 4 years of equivalent experience in Safety/Life Safety in healthcare preferred or other setting
  • Must obtain/maintain a valid NFPA #10 (Standard for portable fire extinguishers) License for Baltimore City & Baltimore County
    Possess a current, valid driver's license. Access to reliable transportation with valid, in-force insurance
  • Analytical, communications and organizational
    Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite software programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; the internet and social media; familiarity with and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
    Ability to work under deadline pressure on assignments and projects.
    Ability to drive and travel to and from offsite locations.
    Problem Solving -analytical skills; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; maintain
