YOUR ROLE

In addition, you'll be involved in the coordination/interaction with staff, colleagues and superiors, overall leadership, and have significant customer contact.

YOUR ROLE
As a Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for the management of the facility with a focus on the operations, administration, service, sales and marketing, accounting/financial, and asset utilization. In addition, you'll be involved in the coordination/interaction with staff, colleagues and superiors, overall leadership, and have significant customer contact.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an engaged ambassador for the company, demonstrate the highest standards of business ethics.
- Foster and promote a productive work environment and communicate, administer and ensure that company standards and guidelines are met.
- Guide, train and develop staff while focusing on teamwork.
- Lead operational performance, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and planning with a focus towards industry and business trends in the market and competition.
- Actively identify opportunities to improve operations and drive operational performance while focusing on profitable growth, productivity, quality and cost.
- Responsible for operating the branch within the budget established and the development and service of new and existing business.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- 7+ years of domestic/international freight forwarding experience with hands-on sales, operations, and/or financial management experience.
- Demonstrated people management skills, working in a fast-paced environment, interacting effectively at multiple levels in support of customer relationships and/or prospecting relationships while focusing on building strong relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including organizational, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Proficiency with various MS Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, international or business preferred (significant industry experience may be substituted for degree).
