Position: Civil Construction Project Manager

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to manage and overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various civil construction projects. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Union IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the project team
• Monitor project progress and ensure that all milestones are met within the given time and budget constraints
• Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports
• Plan all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, etc. and provide guidance when needed
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and conflicts that may arise during the project
• Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and up-to-date
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including engineers, architects, and contractors
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure project success and compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience managing large-scale civil projects
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• In depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with construction/project management software. Procore, Foundation, Bid 2 Win and Trimble is a plus
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
