Job Description:
Celestica Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven candidate qualified for the position of Senior Director Hardware Engineering to manage the market leading Celestica Hardware Design Group. The successful candidate will lead a design and development group and will be responsible for engineering assignments related to hardware products as well as systems including development of new products, updates to existing products or sustaining current products. The candidate will be working closely with Product Marketing, Procurement, and Software teams to drive product definitions. Duties will include research, evaluation, development and application of new processes as well as methods in development of new or sustaining products. The candidate will be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets, schedules and documentation of work and test results. The candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of hardware and all aspects of hardware development. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the group.
