Our Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) Sales team is looking for an Analyst to support ILS new issue sales and secondary trading in the Americas and develop into a sales and trading professional taking on the syndicate role and trading in the secondary markets!

In this role you will be a part of the development and implementation of Swiss Re's ILS distribution and origination strategy. Keeping abreast of new trends and currents in the ILS market, you will identify and monitor capital markets trends in terms of products, price and available capacity.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.

About the Role
In this role you will be a part of the development and implementation of Swiss Re's ILS distribution and origination strategy. Keeping abreast of new trends and currents in the ILS market, you will identify and monitor capital markets trends in terms of products, price and available capacity.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Assist in distribution of ILS and other instruments (private deals and sidecars) to institutional investors in the Americas
- Record and analyze loss data/payouts for Catastrophe bonds
- Work closely with ILS team members on placement tactics
- Facilitate secondary ILS trading and production of weekly and month-end ILS pricing materials
- Publish periodic updates on the ILS market for investors and assist in the maintenance of Swiss Re's Capital Markets website
- Prepare distribution pitches for new investment accounts; arrange and attend marketing events
- With support from wider ILS team, aid in origination of marketing materials for sponsor meetings and calls

- University Degree is a must - with a focus in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Finance
- Entry level knowledge of Capital Markets and/or reinsurance
- Ability to multitask under a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Programming capabilities in Python, SQL etc.
