Work arrangements: 2-3 times a week on-site
Contract Duration: until 05/01/2026
Business group: GWO - FX and Derivative Services - Regulatory Trade Reporting - Supports the capital markets global business market team. The mandate is to ensure compliance with regard to regulatory reporting. (Part of global wholesale operations). The team runs controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of various regulatory report submissions.
Project: The bank aims to migrate current FINRA Electronic Blue Sheets reporting and FINRA Consolidated Audit Trail reporting to a vendor application called N-tier. As part of this project, there is requirement to support the existing operations controls and prepare operations readiness such as standard operating procedures. The project is run in various phases to integrate different sources into the vendor platform and streamline report submissions to the regulator.
Responsibilities:
? Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation
? Executing and creating test cases
? Defining business solutions for the requirements
? Building controls around the solution (process, database solution)
? Reading rules and understanding business requirements, writing test cases
? Interact with the following stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal, and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements)
? 25-30% in meetings/ working groups to understand how everything comes together and the overall impact
? Run various regulatory controls, publish metrics, participate in project calls, etc.
Must have skills:
? 8-10 years as a Business Analyst
? 5+ Capital Markets experience
? Recent project experience with regulatory trade reporting - CAT, SFTR, EBS preferred.
? Well-balanced understanding of regulations in business and technology
Nice to have skills:
Experience with Electronic Blue Sheets, Consolidated Audit Trails
General understanding of operations and experience in any control functions.
Education:
bachelor's degree, post-secondary, or relevant work experience.
Best vs Average Candidate: The ideal candidate would be a BA with prior Regulatory experience. The ideal candidate would have a general understanding of operations and experience in any control functions.
